A simpler guest upload journey
Wedding photo sharing without an app
Let wedding guests upload pictures through a private QR link without downloading an app or creating their own account.
1. Scan
The guest uses the phone camera to open the wedding’s secure upload page.
2. Choose pictures
The browser accepts JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, WebP images up to 50MB each.
3. Upload
The pictures are added to the owner’s event without an app download or guest account.
Why the owner still signs in
The account login protects event controls and the collected gallery. It lets the owner download the real QR, pause uploads, rotate access and manage the pictures without requiring every guest to register.
The QR is an upload key, not an account login
Anyone with the active guest QR or link can reach that event’s upload page, so share it with wedding guests rather than posting it indiscriminately. Pause the channel after collection or rotate the link when access needs to change.
Photographers use a different private route
The event owner can create a photographer upload link protected by a one-time PIN. This avoids giving a professional uploader access to the owner account while keeping their deliveries separate from guest submissions.

Frequently asked questions
Do guests have to download anything?
No. The guest upload page opens in the phone browser after scanning the QR or opening its secure link.
Do guests need a Fotoprynt login?
No. Only the event owner needs an account to create and manage the event. Guests can contribute pictures without registering.
Can every guest see the owner’s event dashboard?
No. The owner dashboard requires the account login. The guest QR opens the limited photo-upload journey instead.
Which phones can use the QR?
Modern iPhone and Android camera apps can normally open QR links directly. Guests can also open the underlying guest link if scanning is inconvenient.
