How to make a QR code for wedding photos
Follow the complete setup process for a wedding photo upload QR code, from creating the event to testing and sharing the real guest QR.
1. Enter the wedding details
Add a recognisable event name and the wedding date in the generator. The on-page code is only a sample preview.
2. Sign in to continue
Choose Generate my QR code. Sign in or create the owner account so the event can be managed securely.
3. Review and activate
Check the restored wedding details, then create and activate the event. Wedding is selected automatically in this journey.
4. Download the real QR
Open the new event dashboard and download the QR from the Guest QR upload card. This code opens the private guest page.
5. Test with another phone
Scan at the size and distance guests will use. Complete a test photo upload and confirm it appears in the gallery.
6. Share it at the wedding
Place the tested code where guests pause naturally, with a short instruction explaining that it is for picture uploads.
A quick pre-wedding test checklist
Keep the secure code current
Pausing an event temporarily blocks guest uploads while preserving the event. Rotating the guest link is different: it replaces the destination, so the previous QR should be removed from any wedding website or digital message and any future printing should use the new code.

Can I test the wedding QR before showing it to guests?
Yes. After activating the event, scan the real QR with a second phone and complete a test upload before adding it to printed displays.
Does the sample QR accept wedding pictures?
No. The preview is clearly marked SAMPLE and opens fotoprynt.com. The secure guest upload destination is created only after sign-in and event activation.
Where do I download the real QR code?
Open the event in your Fotoprynt account. The Guest QR upload card contains the live code, guest link and QR download control.
What happens if I rotate the guest link?
The previous guest destination stops accepting uploads. Download the replacement QR and update any digital or printed copies before sharing it.
